Scholarship opportunities
CCAD is pleased to award talent- and need-based scholarships
to high school seniors (and to high school graduates and transfer students
in some cases). It may be possible for a student to be awarded more than
one scholarship. In most cases, a student may accept only one scholarship
Scholarship recipients
Recipients of CCAD scholarships take part in the Creative
Community Corps (C3) of Volunteers:
- Students are required to complete 10 hours of volunteer
service each term (for a total of 80 volunteer hours before graduation).
- Projects students have completed include designing
and building a castle for the children at a public library, creating
logo designs for nonprofit organizations, and work with Habitat for
Humanity.
- Many students volunteer as Hometown Ambassadors,
returning to their high schools with information about CCAD and examples
of their work, and providing assistance to their high school art teachers.
If a student elects not to participate in the program,
they refund 10 percent of the scholarship award for that term to the
college for the general scholarship fund. |
